Good news. The second circuit court has said that even if a provider records television for you in the cloud based on your choices, and then lets you play it back by streaming it, it is still just time-shifting, and is fair use.
This is one of the somewhat no-brainer solutions for television, that are much much easier than a lot of the currently utilized systems, but that never could be done...
