I really don’t understand how

I really don’t understand how some people can have such an imperialist view of what america should and should not do… it’s also odd to me that many of these people are the same ones that are opposed to the UN because they see it as an imperialist organization out to bend the world to it’s will, when mostly it just does humanitarian work, health related things, and tries to stop some chaos in destabilized regions of the world. people need to be more consistent.

it also bothers me that people are so accepting of anything bush says, as long as he wraps it in patriotic crap. he’s saying that one group’s democratically elected leader is not good enough, and must be replaced. we’re a democracy, what happened to supporting that, at least superficially, in other countries?
