I remember hearing a long time ago about a prediction that bush would be going to war in iraq in september, it was notable i thought because it was so matter-of-fact. not like, “well i guess this might happen” but like this person had heard some news or something. i don’t remember where i heard this though. this story makes it sound like it might be pretty soon, who knows…

haha, i just saw my mom trying to call my brother on her cell phone. she has voice-dialing through the phone. of course it’s not great, and when it didn’t work i heard her saying his name over and over, increasingly in a tone that you would use for a human when they’re not paying attention. which if course is strange inflection… i asked her what she was doing (she was in another room so all i heard was my brother’s name being chanted at first) and she walked in and had her phone and a piece of paper on which his phone number was written. you may think, well of course this number is in the phone if it’s on voice-dial so why the paper? who knows.
