Windows Rocks!
Wow, apperantly if you rip your CDs using windows media player (i didn’t know people would do this?) it encodes your music file (god knows it’s not an mp3) in such a way so that it can only be played on that computer. it’s not even a hardware thing, so a format/reinstall will also not allow you to play your files again. That’s nice. I seriously don’t see why M$ can’t even show any semblance of caring what its consumers want. It couldn’t be because it’s a monopoly right? i mean, companies only get to be a monopoly is they have the best products!
Anyway, iTunes rips real honest-to-god mp3s up to 320kbps quickly.
