Lessig v2.0

This is wonderful. Someone decided that they could improve on the speech by Lessig, and they have. This is what i love about the internet. The culture that people can improve on things, mostly it is software people can improve on, with open-source; but with more and more community sites and blogs people can improve on ideas. When i post a comment to metafilter, or kuro5hin, or here, my ideas can change, and be improved by others, and that’s beautiful. People contribute to the conversation expecting their ideas to be improved, certainly not fighting it. I think that is one of the reasons we have such trouble with copyright. Deep down we not only expect to be able to transmit data, we want to be able to change it, and improve it.
