What is happening now is very depressing. I know a few people that are informed and for war. No one I know in real life is like that. I do know people in real life that are for and against war however. The majority of people for war have been deluded. They are too busy going shopping, or watching Joe Millionaire to realize that Iraq didn’t bomb the world trade center. One of the “Dixie Chicks” recently said something negative about Bush and his drive for war while touring out of the country. Radio stations in Texas boycotted her. One radio station I listen to had people call in and say what they thought; one woman said “I wonder if she would feel that way if she lost anyone in the world trade center attack”. The DJ didn’t say anything. Actually she said it was a good point.

Like I said, someone I know supports the war, she says, “I’m all about war I can’t wait for it to start”. I would ask her what she thinks about the legality of Bush declaring war without congress, violating both the US Constitution, and the UN Charter. Unfortunately she is currently watching a show about puppies in the pound.
