Liberty Alliance

Apparently the corporations have decided privacy between monster monopolies wasn’t cool. We need a unified identifier system so that we can be more easily tracked across companies, enter Liberty. With new Liberty-Enabled technology your life will be better! or something. What I really mean is the companies will make more money, and know how to market to you better, and control you.

The Liberty Alliance is comprised of 150 member companies representing a wide variety of industries and over a billion customers, with operations all over the globe. Each of the member companies either owns and operates large communities of interest or is the developer of core technology that can enable a federation of online communities. However, membership in the Alliance is still open and all organizations are invited and encouraged to join.
