Flickr.com

I signed up for “Flickr”:http://www.flickr.com/. It’s pretty fun, kinda fills that gap that irc used to. irc has gone down the crap tubes lately, and nothing else seems to have filled its niche. People seem to have just moved to IM systems, but those don’t really offer any socialization, or group conversation. I still kinda think flickr is just a fad, but who knows.

I don’t really see how they will be profitable if very many people sign up though, they have some ads now, butt they are only text and pretty unobtrusive, I don’t see that funding them long-term.
