I, Robot
I saw I, Robot the movie today. It was actually better than I expected. I don’t think it generally kept with Asimov’s vision though, but going in I didn’t really think it would be related to asimov at all, I was really just expecting killer robots. There was talk about the laws of robotics, and that was a major plot device, so that’s good. There was the stupid “logic is evil” theme going through the movie unfortunately.
I was really worried about the red light of evil in the robots, and how they would explain an “evilness-indicator light” built in, actually they do, in a way that is acceptable.
Anyway, here is an interesting article about it, and the movie’s relationship with Asimov on Slate.
