Dad has joined the revolution

My dad has become a blogger! He has actually done this once before, but I think I forced him into it then and it wasn’t something he really cared about so he didn’t continue. This time I didn’t have anything to do with it. He signed up with Blogger which I would do now too at that point. I like typepad and all, but I think it fills a niche that I don’t see him ever filling.

If you want simple, blogger is it, and it’s free. If you want more features I don’t know why you wouldn’t move to a non-hosted system. The only reason for typepad is if you want the features they aren’t putting in to MT. The fact that they are holding out on features like that was one of the main reasons I left MT though, so…

One odd thing I noticed, blogger doesn’t have clear syndication on the page, unless my dad has disabled it, but it does have feeds available via autodiscovery. I wonder why they went with that choice.
