Google Reader

Well, I’m not using google reader anymore, I was excited about it, and I still like the idea of having that information online, but it was missing too many features that I really need and/or got used to with netnewswire. Also in moving back I noticed another bug, the export is a little screwy. You can tag things, like tech, news etc, but when you export it’s hierarchical opml with duplications you have to weed out, a pain… Anyway, here are a list of problems:

• I miss how NNW shows you things you have clicked through to.
• No search of your subscriptions, which is weird, you know, for a search company.
• No sorting by blog, I don’t really like them all mixed up so I read one story about politics, then one about tech, etc.
• There is no total unread count.
