Democracy

So, the new version of DTV is out, it’s called Democracy. I like it pretty well. There is one aspect that is somewhat new feeling to me. I subscribe to delicious and videobomb feeds, and they are set to download automatically. When you go to watch them you get presented with a list of videos about all sorts of things with absolutely no context or description other than the vague notion that the video is popular. This is an interesting situation, it feels almost as if you are in the subconscious of the web. There is no discussion going on, just the topic, and no context at all.
