Creationism

An article in the Arkansas Times, really sad. When you read about how the museums used to have exhibits about evolution but took them down, I kinda get the feeling I got when I read about the schools for women that used to run in Taliban controlled Afghanistan. It’s like the people being interviewed agree with the interviewer and realize whet they are doing is normal to a larger world, but have to try and make the interviewer understand what it’s like locally.

This is the part of the post where people would say something about how this type of education isn’t going to help us compete in the global market, but I don’t know who I would trying to convince with that rhetoric. Everyone who is sensible agrees, and the people that don’t want evolution taught care more about their heavenly rewards than the welfare of our society in 20 years. So, there you go.
