Bootcamp
Holy crap! Apple was what, like a few weeks behind a breakneck open source project? I think a lot of people hoped this would come eventually, but no one was sure. I don’t think anyone thought it would come this fast though.
This will be so useful for people at work that have to use weird apps, but really want a mac. Big win for apple, and microsoft since people have to actually buy windows now.
Also, is there no end to the meanness of apple lately:
Macs use an ultra-modern industry standard technology called EFI to handle booting. Sadly, Windows XP, and even the upcoming Vista, are stuck in the 1980s with old-fashioned BIOS. But with Boot Camp, the Mac can operate smoothly in both centuries.
