Articles as Argument Nexus

Funny article in Wired about wikipedia articles being argument nexus. The first half in hilarious, but then he falls into some of the more boring traps that everyone likes to repeat when they criticize wikipedia. This quote great though

In fact, Wikipedia is the largest and most comprehensive collection of arguments in human history, incorporating spats and vendettas on subjects ranging from Suleiman the Magnificent to Dan the Automator. As an unexpected side effect of being the perfect argument space, it’s also a pretty good place to find information about all the characters from Battlestar: Galactica.

Maybe after that he should have stopped, or worked out some more material at that quality. A this point though you are almost guaranteed attention if you criticize wikipedia, so for ad-based media it’s a win!
