OpenID

The OpenID thing is really happening fast. Chances are you may have an OpenID already. Apparently AOL just decided all their account holders (including AIM!) would become openid accounts. This is right on the heels of microsoft saying that OpenID will be well supported in their upcoming cardspace initiative.

Looking good for the OpenID people, and they deserve it, it’s about time we had nice secure open source single sign on that wasn’t controlled by a single company.
