You should put a tag on the articles. I’ve reworked the intro for somatic hypermutation:

Somatic hypermutation (or SHM) is a mechanism inside cells that is part of the way the immune system adapts to new foreign elements it is confronted with (for example, microbes). It serves to diversify the receptors the immune system uses to recognise foreign elements (antigens). It allows the immune system to adapt its response to new threats during the lifetime of an organism.

The lead section in ”Chebychev polynomial” attempts to say much. ”The trigonometric defintion” gives the original motivatoin ( to express cos(nx) in terms of polynomials of cos(x) ).

Yeah, I agree. I didn’t mention anything about simple english wikipedia because I thought it might be mean, but I think that is a useful tool in these discussions also. The article on Genetics itself should be general enough for an introduction, and if not simple english is the way to go.

Honestly, i think introductory articles like the should rather be created in the simple english wikipedia, as i stated in the talk page of the Introduction to Genetics article. Of course, a link to them would also be useful, but I’d suggest a style similar to the interwiki templates, like these found on the Genetics article:

{{Wikibooks|Genetics}} — Wikibooks has a book on the topic of Genetics
{{commonscat|Genetics}} — Wikimedia Commons has media related to: Genetics
{{WVD}} — At Wikiversity you can learn more and teach others about Genetics at:The Department of Genetics

(by the way, these templates names’ could use a little more standardization…)
