<p><a href="http://www.opencyc.org/">OpenCyc</a> is an open sourced implementation of Cyc, “an artificial intelligence project that attempts to assemble a comprehensive ontology and database of everyday common sense knowledge, with the goal of enabling AI applications to perform human-like reasoning.”</p>
<p>Now, <a href="http://wiki.dbpedia.org/OpenCyc">OpenCyc is looking at DBpedia data</a>! So next time you fill in that infobox you are not only helping little kids in Africa learn about the world, you are also helping (killer) robots learn about <a href="http://www.cycfoundation.org/concepts/Murder">murder</a>.
